INSABI and UNOPS, 140 million pieces of medicine and healing material have been made available to the health care sector in Mexico.
UNOPS ended, in December 2022, support to the Government of Mexico for the purchase of medicines, supplies and medical devices
UNOPS worked with the Government of Mexico through INSABI since 2020, acquiring 1050 keys and delivering over 800 million units of medicines, supplies, and medical devices during 2021 and 2022.
The suppliers who won the tenders conducted by UNOPS officially completed the delivery period for medicines, supplies, and medical devices in December 2022.
The project is currently in the process of closing contracts with suppliers and remains committed to transparency and accountability. The website proyectosaludmexico.org will remain active for public consultation.
